Marica Girardi lavora all'intersezione tra arte partecipativa, pedagogia performativa e innovazione sociale da oltre quindici anni. Il suo lavoro si muove su tre direttrici principali: la rigenerazione di spazi pubblici attraverso l'arte e l'urbanistica tattica, la partecipazione delle comunità a processi culturali e di co-creazione — spesso nelle aree interne e nei quartieri periferici del Sud Italia — e la ricerca su pratiche mente-corpo, arte performativa e pedagogia.Si laurea in Lettere con indirizzo teatrale all'Università di Bari, per poi specializzarsi in project management culturale (Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, Torino) e conseguire un Master in Progettazione e Management del Multimedia per la Comunicazione (Corep/Università di Torino). Nel 2023 consegue la Laurea Magistrale in Scienze dello Spettacolo con una tesi sui movimenti sociali contemporanei e l'uso dell'arte performativa come strumento di protesta, discussa con lode. Attualmente è dottoranda in Teaching & Learning Studies presso le Università di Chieti e Macerata, dove approfondisce la Didattica Performativa come modello educativo per l'inclusione.Ha progettato e coordinato numerosi progetti finanziati da programmi europei (Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg) e nazionali (PON, POR, FSC), lavorando con enti pubblici, cooperative culturali, fondazioni e reti internazionali. Parallelamente svolge attività di docenza e formazione su progettazione culturale, didattica performativa e team building, ed è autrice di pubblicazioni tra cui Il Corpo di Japigia e Fare Finta.
Marica Girardi has worked at the intersection of participatory art, performative pedagogy, and social innovation for over fifteen years. Her work unfolds along three main lines: the regeneration of public spaces through art and tactical urbanism, community participation in cultural and co-creation processes — often in inland areas and peripheral neighborhoods of Southern Italy — and research on mind-body practices, performative art, and pedagogy.She graduated in Literature with a specialization in theatre studies from the University of Bari, before specializing in cultural project management (Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, Turin) and completing a Master's degree in Multimedia Project Design and Management for Communication (Corep/University of Turin). In 2023, she earned a Master's degree in Performing Arts Studies with a thesis on contemporary social movements and the use of performative art as a tool for protest, discussed with honors. She is currently a PhD candidate in Teaching & Learning Studies at the Universities of Chieti and Macerata, where she is deepening her research on Performative Pedagogy as an educational model for inclusion.She has designed and coordinated numerous projects funded by European (Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg) and national programs (PON, POR, FSC), working with public institutions, cultural cooperatives, foundations, and international networks. Alongside this, she teaches and trains in cultural project design, performative pedagogy, and team building, and is the author of publications including Il Corpo di Japigia and Fare Finta.

TarGET – Le mani sulla città is an urban sharing and co-design project implemented with the Municipality of Taranto in the Salinella, Tamburi and Città Vecchia districts. The project, funded by the National Youth Policy program", recovered urban voids with the support of 30 NEETs and specialised tutors.
Within the project, the underused spaces of the three neighbourhoods were mapped and, through assemblies, the interventions and priority places were chosen to be recovered through self-construction and mural techniques.

RICERCATRICE E ANIMATRICE TERRITORIALEBrindisi Città Commovente è uno studio di fattibilità del Comune di Brindisi per ridurre la dispersione scolastica e agire concretamente sull'emergenza educativa.Il documento è stato costruito in collaborazione con la Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli di Napoli FOQUS, con la Fondazione NESTA Italia e l'Università di Napoli.Nel processo di costruzione della strategia sono stati coinvolti in coprogettazione: gli enti di formazione professionale del terrritorio, le Istituzioni scolastiche, le organizzazioni non profit che operano nel settore dell'inclusione e dell'educazione.
RESEARCHER AND TERRITORIAL ANIMATOR'Brindisi Città Commovente' is a feasibility study by the Municipality of Brindisi to reduce school dropout and take concrete action on the educational emergency.The document was built in collaboration with the Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli di Napoli FOQUS, the NESTA Italia Foundation and the University of Naples.In the process of building the strategy, the following were involved in co-design: terrritory vocational training institutions, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations working in the field of inclusion and education.
